Great! Love it! Not only does it have some fabulous recipes but it has information about each state and beautiful pictures.

We are avid travelers so enjoy the newsy tidbits for each state as well as the recipes. She represented our state perfectly. The only thing I don’t like as much is the organization of the states. I almost wish they were alphabetical because our state doesn’t “fit” well into the region where it is placed.

Love your channel and have for many years. We are also doing some of the less popular National Parks. Boy are they popular with us! Love that they are not as crowded as other parks but every bit as spectacular. Love your cooking videos too. I've made a few of the dishes. They are delicious and easy to make in the RV. Thanks for everything you two do. We realize it's alot of work. Mark...LOVE Charlie's stairs accordion. Cracks us up every time.

Oct 1, 2025 Hi Trish, We just returned home after a 3 month trip. I’m only 10 pages in, and it’s amazing…..I love the water colors and photography. I can’t wait to read the recipes. Your cookbooks are amazing, we love taking a recipe a week just tried the horseradish recipe for the fondue steak and it was delicious. The chicken recipe from the first cookbook is now a staple in our house.

I absolutely love love love this cookbook! It is so different and unique and well thought out. The illustrations and explanations of each state are just phenomenal. The pictures of each appetizer, salad, entrée, bread, etc. are just mouthwatering. It is a wonderful culinary journey!! This is a cook book that shouldn't be put away on a shelf. It deserves a spot on the coffee table or night stand. It's a beautiful piece of art and information and delicious recipes. Someday, I might even make one.

Love the mini notes with all of the States’ year, motto, capital, flower, and tree! The recipes were thoughtfully chosen to match each state, it’s like a food map!! I am excited to start cooking again after I retire and have time (retired hubby cooks now). Love each state's iconic landmarks and the beautiful yummy pictures of the food items! I follow KYD and love that Tricia’s family was involved in creating this beautiful story of food!

This is so much more than a cookbook! The recipes of course are delicious, however the presentation, illustration, and photography are over the top. I particular love the style of the illustrations and the organization and thoughtfulness put into each state and regional section of the book! I have both of Tricia’s cookbooks and they are both great, but this one really took the cake!

Tricia, the cookbook has incredible recipes! We live in NJ and not only did you research Pork Roll correctly. Us Southern NJ say "Pork Roll" and Northern NJ say "Taylor Ham." Also in the cookbook are items about each State like NJ, where the "Jersey Devil" lives, and all the interesting facts about NJ (Shore, things to do in NJ). I have enjoyed looking at the yummy recipes and beautiful photos, but also reading about suggestions of things to do in the various states. Can’t wait to get back on the road and use this cookbook as a guide. I also learned something from the book I didn’t know - use sea salt rather than table salt in your recipes for yummier taste. I have already tried that and it is great advice! Love the cookbook!!

Hi from the UK Bought this for me and my wife Paula as we watch every Episode of KYD.. We’re now watching Trish’s Cookery Livestream’s too! This Book is Beautifully made with Brilliant Photography and Text easy to understand. It’s our first book from Tricia and it won’t be our last! You’ve got to be dedicated to Ship Stuff from the States to the UK that’s for sure! I buy a lot of KYD Merch thanks to the help of Friends in North Carolina who then Ship it on to me In England. I don’t suppose there’s much KYD Merch in the UK but we’re doing our best to ‘Spread the Word(s)’ “Keep Your Daydream” Wade Stuart Sheffield England.

Have done 5 recipes so far. All have been great. I am going to try and cook the whole cookbook this year. Traveling seems to get in the way.

After loving the first cookbook, ordering by the second was a no brainer. The first book felt fun and recipes were delicious. When I first opened the second cookbook of the 50 states, I was stunned. The artwork is BEAUTIFUL. The watercolor art in this book and the overall aesthetic is 10/10. I am loving the information that comes with each state and the recipes so far are amazing. I’m enjoying venturing out of my normal meals and trying these out. This book feels like a lot of love was poured into it, and I can’t stop opening this book just to read through it and be inspired by the next meal I want to make.

We’re loving it! It arrived just in time for our 5 week fall tour from Michigan out through Canada to Maine and back through Mass. and New York. It’s a wonderful travel companion, the trip suggestions, food recommendations and recipes are all great. We’re taking it slow digesting and reading about each state as we get there. Trish and Mark, Hi, we love following you and KYD. We just finished our stay at Bear Head Lake State Park Near Ely. I brought your book with to make plans for our next trip. This trip we made it up to Ely to visit the Dorothy Molter Museum- she's known as "Rootbeer Dorothy", last person to be able to live in the Boundry Waters. I was lucky enough to be in a group of YMCA campers on a trip to the Boundry Waters back in Aug 1986, and we stopped, met her and was able to taste her homemade root beer. She passed December that year. Amazing lady, if you haven't heard of her. We also got up close with the Soudan Mine, which was huge in Mn for mining iron ore and the steel industry. They still do underground tours, takes you a half mile underground to where they last took iron ore from this area. Anyway, just wanted to say we love following you guys, you inspire us to get out with our camper ss much as we can and with your cookbook we will be sure to be fed well each time! My husband and I have been a big fan of KYD for a couple of years now. We recently started to include "Where is Trish Cooking" into our viewing. We had purchased the first cookbook as well and were excited when the new one came out. We recently shared KYD with some close camping friends of ours and they have delved in as well. It has been fun share all that you offer with another couple. The friends just purchased a 2024 Tradewind Airstream. When I ordered my Taste of the States Cookbook I ordered an extra as a housewarming gift for the new camper. We both explored the cookbook this weekend and are excited to put it to use. As we work to camp in all 50 states the cookbook will be coming along and we will make the recipe for each state. I truly appreciate that the book is more then a cookbook. The travel tips and hints just help complement the full travel experience. The pictures and visuals throughout make you excited as you plan for your next trip. As we plan to winterize our campers for their winter slumber we have decided when we do our summer 2026 planning we are going to use the cookbook to cook recipes for the states we have already hit. I appreciate that the cookbook is going to bring even more joy to our camping experience!

Hello from Lake Lanier Georgia...We bought 6 of the books and they will soon become Christmas presents!! The book in well put together (great job published) and kuddos all that participated (great job photos and structure) ya'll are the best. If you pass through don't forget to stop at Lake Lanier Islands RV park Halloween, Christmas or 4th of July. They put on a great show. I'll come and get you on our boat and we can explore the 700 mile shore line of Lake Lanier. Safe travels.

Loving this cookbook so far! Tricia took such care in the presentation of the food, the art on the pages, and the personal experiences for each location and recipe. We tried the Drunken French Toast this weekend while camping to celebrate a birthday and it turned out perfect! Would highly recommend making the bourbon maple syrup! Just a great book. It is an enjoyable companion to the lounge chair and a glass of wine. The spices are a real treat . A real adventure in flavors. We are currently trying the new spices with some of our long-time favorite meats and veggies...looking for a good match. So far, so good.

I can't wait to make every single recipe in this book...might take me a bit, but I'm up for it! Thank you for producing these wonderful cookbooks

Easy to follow recipes on how to prepare the meals. A lot of your recipes I have the ingredients . I can't wait to make the meals .

well i'm 77 3/4th years old and i bought the book for my grandson{twin boys} girlfriend. She told me how much she loved being in the kitchen .She was aglow!I had to apply sunburn lotion.Nice to experience a young person expressing enthusiasm !
