Small Space, Big Taste™ Cookbook

This cookbook is dynamite! It brings meals with great flavor to RV life. It gave me a boost and motivation to cook better meals for my husband and I on our RV adventures. We even were able to bless another RV family with a cookbook and they challenged their kids to pick two recipes each that they wanted to cook from the recipes that Tricia provides. Love the photos as it gives me a guide on what to strive for.

I’m very picky about the cookbooks I buy, and I only keep the ones I consistently use. This is one of those keepers! The salad dressings are exceptional, and everything really is easy enough to make in an RV! If you love bright, citrus flavors, great proteins, and yummy dressings, you will love many of the recipes in this book.

Tricia, I love the cookbook. Have not had time to make any recipes yet. I am using the spices and we love them. We are hopefully going to head out west this summer. I want to preplan meals with your cookbook. We love your You-tube videos. Our youngest daughter's name is Tricia. We are retired folks, with four little grand babes. I made the corn salsa and it was so good! Put it on top of chicken tacos with avocado and grated Cotija cheese! My coworker said, “That looks so yummy! What are you eating?” Great to have healthy alternatives that are so flavorful!

Viewing the recipes which look very tasty… Haven’t tried them yet. Busy getting ready to start our RV adventure soon. Looking forward to making your recipes Thea and Bob:)

We bought this because we travel in a 25 foot Motorhome. My husband loves to cook and cooking in a small RV is not the easiest. With a 2 month trip coming up we thought this might have some good ideas and recipes in it. And we were not disappointed! We have already tried 4 recipes and they all were GREAT! Can't wait to try more AND, make them in our motorhome.

The recipes in this book are wonderfully easy and delicious! We’ve tried 5 of them so far and looking to try them all. I love your recipes, Trish! Looking forward to another cookbook if it’s on the horizon.

The book itself is well made and the pictures are just beautiful. I was a little let down on the actual recipes. I expected to see more actual meal recipes that would be able to be made quickly and with minimal ingredients as it was marketed as a small space type of recipe book. There were a lot of sauces and dips and then random things like beer and s’mores. It’s a beautiful book and I have made 3 really good recipes from the book, please don’t get me wrong. I just wish there was less sauces and dips and random type pages and more actual recipes.

I ordered the cookbook and got the blends as well. They look very interesting. But since I got the book, I assumed it would advise me as to which dishes to put the blends in but no information was available. I’m not an adventurous cook so I need a little more help than what I got for the price I paid. I think you could’ve added, at least a hint of where to use the blends. I came to the website because on your book it says this is where I could learn how to use them. But your website is just about selling the book and your lens. So far I have not found where you talk about how to use the blends. I’m not computer literate so maybe I just don’t know where to look. I was disappointed with the whole experience.

All the recipes look delicious and easy. This cookbook is going in our Airstream for sure!

Will be going on the road..fla. to New Hampshire with new b+ coach 27 feet made by Coach House. We have had lg class a coaches but my husband had a stroke and I will be doing most of driving. Will try out recipes on the road thanks

This would be the third Small Space, Big Taste cookbooks I have ordered. It makes me happy to share your book with other RVing friends. And. I love your magazine too. I have watched your YouTube episodes since you started your Daydream journey. I look forward to every new episode. Oh, and now I have my own Keep Your Daydream denim hat. You guys are the Best!

I'm SO SO SO happy I finally was able to get the cookbook!! We're canadian and it's so hard to justify shipping costs but now we're south for the winter for the first time so it was much easier. I bought this for my daughter & son-in-law, who live in a small space and even smaller kitchen, but like to play in the kitchen and try new, healthy recipes. They have tried several and love the recipes! I loved looking through the cookbook (before I gave it away). The recipes and pictures were beautiful and sounded yummy. Love this book. I also spend a lot of time in my RV (not a full-timer but maybe one week out of every month) and love knowing all these meals have been tried and approved by the family in that small space environment. Tricia is one of my favorites and definitely has a way with food.

Love ur book so far!! I have made the broccoli red pepper pasta, the Cowgirl, confetti corn and potato Mediterranean Salad. I love how interjecting citrus changes/freshens the tastes. I never thought about adding potato to a salad. We’re trying to lose weight and eat healthier. We were already eating healthy but we are introducing more dishes and I’m trying to plan my meals for the week. I love the med bowls! Ps: I admire how you’ve raised your kids, Tricia. I’m sure you inspire many!!

I love many of the recipes. The pictures are helpful, and the layout is user friendly. The poppers were very challenging and cleaning them was hard. I finally just cut them in half and made them into boats. I love the inspiration, and I began zesting and using more lemons and limes than ever before.

Just started, but I think it will be great.

In August, I ordered Small Space Big Taste by Tricia Leach (KYD) and Gourmet In The Forest by Kellie Oden (Dome Life). Both of these ladies impress me with their ability to cook on the road. Tricia, you introduced me to Herbs de Provence, a blend of herbs that was not in my pantry that I had never even heard of. Wow! Who knew? I made pulled pork for 50 people at my granddaughter Abigail's 1st birthday party. It turned out great and everyone enjoyed it. I tried the Sweet Heat season blend on some tacos. It was fabulous! I have read through the cookbook and especially like how the table of contents & index is organized. It makes finding things easy. Thanks for sharing all the side notes and pictures throughout the cookbook. I feel as if you are an old friend because I have been following KYD for so long. Perhaps we will meet one day!

I was gifted this delightful cookbook. After reading it in its entirety and preparing a few of the recipes, I decided to order 5 books as Christmas gifts for my long standing ladies dinner group. The recipes are interesting and fun. What makes the book so enjoyable is the presentation. I actually feel a connection with Marc, Tricia and family; almost as if I’m with them during their adventures. I’m looking forward to our December dinner group where I can share the book with others.

I’ve been following Trish’s RV cooking and watching her feed her family fresh, healthy food for some time now. Great cookbook, did not disappoint!

I have cooked at least half of the recipes in this cookbook since I received it a month ago. This has revolutionized the way I cook! My family loves it, my kitchen is cleaner, and we are eating three or four vegetables every night at dinner. I’ve gone from not ever grilling to grilling multiple kinds of food each night…. Haven’t had a chance to use many of the recipes. Bought it mainly for camping and I am pleased with the variety and easy availability of the ingredients. We will definitely get into it as soon as possible.

I have never had a cookbook where I use most of the recipes. Yummy to taste, easy to use, bright and colorful

Wow, every page is jam packed with goodness! Each recipe considers if you are in a rig or at home, do you have dietary restrictions with your crew of people, etc. and it has so many alternatives to consider for each recipe. It's so impressive and versatile and really helps you use this as a jumping off point to create some love with your dishes and customize them how you like! I'm inspired and really excited to use this on the road and at home!

So far I tried the chicken marinade and Spanish rice. Both were a big hit with my family. Looking forward to trying more recipes and the spice blends

Trish, your recipes were a hit with my family! My RV kitchen has only the stovetop as workspace, so I usually keep meals simple. This time I made a caprese salad with your lemon herb blend, sweet heat grilled chicken tenders, grilled tenderloin with lemon herb blend (p. 121) and sweet potato hash (p. 145). No more difficult than my typical meals, quick cleanup, and terrific meals!

Love the recipe ideas. And the pictures are inspiring me to do more cooking on the road instead of take out.

I absolutely love the cookbook. I received it just in time to take on our very first extended trip in our RV since we retired a year ago. We were gone for a month and I made 3 of the appetizers (clam dip, Artichoke Dip and the Tomato Bites) and the Dry Rub Pork Tenderloin! Everything was Fabulous! My fav is the Tomato bites, I’ve made them three times!! All the recipes were very easy, I can’t wait to try more! Love, Love, Love❤️

This cookbook is done well. It’s enjoyable to read, recipes look fantastic, and I love all the colorful pictures including the cute wallpaper, which was a nice touch! I haven’t had it long, but plan on making many of the recipes (if not all) as the weather warms up (for home), and will be amazing for when we are on the road. I love to cook, and as I’m reading through the recipes, they make sense and sound delicious! I’d recommend this book for sure. Good job Tricia!

It's more than just great recipes. It's informative and an entertaining read. I am very glad I purchased it.

We have made many recipes from this cookbook while camping, but the recipes are well suited for home use as well. I purchased a second copy for my sister who does not camp, but loves cooking fresh food from great recipes & she is thrilled with this cookbook. I have recommended to other friendly campers we have met while traveling around the U.S.
